Came in for dinner for 2 and got seated right away. Lovely atmosphere that I'm sure is even better during the day. Great variety of food options, and everything we ordered was good or great. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by an inattentive server who spent more time chatting with the bartender than checking in on us (other tables seemed to have better service by other servers), forgetting to tell us that certain sides were not available, or just generally not being helpful (needing silverware, drinks refilled, needing to pay the bill, etc.). Overall would love to go back and enjoy the food, hopefully with a different server.
Our last meal before leaving the island. Food was great, service was fast. Our waiter was really nice I can’t remember his name but he was from Portland and has lived in Hawaii for 15 years. Anyways, he was awesome and very attentive without being too attentive, if that makes sense. The food was 5 star delicious, presentation was beautiful and it came out quick. Pictured is the coconut crusted mahi and the lettuce wraps. Full of flavor! Our friends chose the short ribs which looked amazing. Their last seating was at 8 pm and we showed up right at 8 and they still seated us which was nice. It was dark when we showed up but even in the dark the scenery was beautiful and the decor (maps, trains, etc) in the open-air restaurant was really cool.
This was such a nice treat. We came for brunch, and we ordered the pork belly and Mahi Mahi tempura and they were both delicious. And very reasonably priced considering the breathtaking views you get. We loved walking around the plantation and our little one enjoyed feeding the geese. Such a nice way to end our trip. This is a must if you are visiting Maui!
Beautiful views and great food. Definitely worth checking out. My children enjoyed seeing all the ducks and fish they had outside the plantation pond.
Loved this place. Beautiful grounds, serene walking paths, fabulous dinner. Plenty of spots for photo opportunities. Passed by here for years and finally came to dine, drinks, and watched the sun go down.
terrible service no one came to take our order or to greet us for over 20 minutes. even our water took 15 minutes to arrive.
the food was okay:
1. ahi nachos - the best thing we ordered, a bit heavy on the wasabi aioli but overall would get again
2. sautéed mahi mahi - fish was good, but the pairing with a ceasar salad screams laziness to me
3. loco moco - don't bother, the patties are cardboard dry. you can get way better loco moco for less at any drive inn
My steak was cooked perfect but they forgot about our table. I ordered a new York with asparagus and got no asparagus.
I also ordered ice tea and that didn’t come untill 15 minutes later. I had to poach the bar tender for a refills on the ice tea because our server was to busy for our small table of 3. As we waited for our food to be served to us 47 minutes later. My wife’s steak was burnt and my plate came with no veggies. Our steaks was not sizzling but barely warm. Mash potatoes cold.
I do not like leaving negative reviews but come on. Here is one real food critic being real!!! One lady from the back came and said we are so sorry basically for forgetting us handing us our food 47 minutes later. Being somewhat apologetic.
They could have done better. But the customer service was below satisfactory and to abandon your guest made us feel nothing but unwelcome .
The location is beautiful, atmosphere is so amazing. But the customer service was poor.

The food plus the view is stunning. We had our last meal here before leaving Maui. The place is so fresh as such. You have green everywhere around you. The Hawaiian honeybee cocktail is a must try if you are into sweet cocktails. We were lucky to check in early around 11 am to get a table with an amazing view.
